On the 25th May new legislation was introduced that replaced the Data Protection Act of 1998. Under this legislation, the Trustees have a duty to inform anyone on the Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum mailing list or web site of their rights under GDPR.

The mailing list consists of those who chose to add their email address having attended one or more of the three programmes of WAMCF Dialogues in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The data we collected were attendees names and an accompanying email address.

This data is used as a distribution list for the WAMCF Quarterly e-newletter which includes up-coming activities and WAMCF news. It is also used to communicate details of any future dialogues, public WAMCF events or, where specifically requested, WAMCF Women’s meetings.

WAMCF data will NOT be shared, under any circumstances, with any third party. Paul Samuels (samuelsberks@aol.com) is the Data controller for WAMCF.

You have the right to see what data we hold on you and to have that data deleted. You also have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office: https://ico.org.uk

Please note that individuals on the WAMCF Women’s Group distribution list are currently being contacted by Reverend Sally Lynch.
